Our Story began in the winter of 1995
When Marivel, immigrated to Oregon from Mexico.
She carried a dream of building a space for vibrant community gatherings. While systemic barriers stood in her way, her passion for creating meaningful celebrations never decreased.
Decades later, her passion for bringing people together through celebration remains as strong as ever—a passion she’s passed down to me, Taiz.
Guided by her unfulfilled dream, Alegría Photo Booth was born—a mother-daughter collaboration dedicated to capturing moments of joy and creating meaningful, customizable experiences for every event. After all, 'alegría' means happiness in Spanish, and that’s at the heart of everything we do.
